This infographic series explores the world of fungi, examining their roles in food, medicine, environmental sustainability, and scientific research. Across six interconnected graphics, the project translates complex biological information into accessible visual narratives, highlighting the broader relevance of mushrooms in everyday life.

Developed in collaboration with National Geographic, the project focuses on scientific storytelling through data visualization and editorial design, demonstrating how complex research topics can be communicated in a clear, engaging, and visually coherent way.

The work was presented at The New York Times and Scientific American in New York following recognition by the Society for News Design (SND), which awarded a stipend to attend the 2015 SND Conference in Washington, D.C.
